Hi beautiful! Welcome back to another episode of Boldly Courageous! I’m so excited you’re here with me today because I have an absolutely incredible and inspiring guest here to share her wisdom about a topic that I think is essential.
Today, certified expert — and one of my personal favorite Lightworkers — Jasmin Acevedo is on the show to teach us all about womb healing. Jasmin is a former client of mine, and I have just LOVED watching her soar! She has an incredible passion for helping women tap into their divine feminine power through womb healing, and I’m excited for her to share her wisdom with you.
So what exactly is “womb healing?” What does it mean to be a “womb wellness expert?” As women, our wombs are the source of our feminine power. They are this deep well of feminine energy that we must nurture and protect. When we, as women and mothers, take care of our wombs, we have the opportunity to give birth to a new generation that is healed and whole. It’s this amazing cycle of healing and birth that women get to participate in — isn’t that beautiful?!
But that’s not all we’re talking about today! Jasmin has so much wisdom to share, and I couldn’t wait to dive into a whole range of fascinating topics with her. In addition to our discussion about womb healing, we’re also talking about what it means to tap into divine energies, receive our callings, and what it’s like to be a woman of color in the health and wellness industry.
Sis, this episode is inspiring and uplifting. Jasmin Acevedo is so passionate about helping women tap into their highest frequencies and live lives of joy, fulfillment, and wellness. This woman is even opening a brick-and-mortar business in the middle of a pandemic! That’s how much she loves what she does and how confident she is in her calling in life.
If you aspire to that level of confidence and connection, you do not want to miss this episode. You will want to return to this one time and again for wisdom and a little bit of uplifting energy. Let’s get started!
Who Is Jasmin Acevedo?
Jasmin Acevedo began her career as a nurse, but more recently, she has transitioned into a new career as the owner Four2Five Wellness. She is a women’s health advocate and expert, and I’m so happy to see her sharing her light with women everywhere! In fact, Four2Five Wellness is currently opening a brick-and-mortar wellness facility for women!
Jasmin guides women through their natural wellness journey from preconception to postpartum using a mind-body-spirit approach. For a while, she trained as a midwife, but eventually, she realized that she needed to focus more on healing mothers so they could birth a new and healed generation. Now, she’s launched two incredible programs to do just that.
One is her Womb Wellness coaching, which helps women integrate their medical needs with their emotional and spiritual needs to experience womb healing. This is a three-month program, and it’s a really beautiful opportunity for women to tap into their divine feminine energy and bring healing and wellness to their bodies.
Jasmin’s other program is her Nirvana Momma program, which offers six weeks of coaching for expecting mothers. It’s an opportunity to learn everything from how to handle the birthing process to healthy and research-based recipes to facilitate a healthy reproductive cycle.
Jasmin is doing incredible work serving women, and I want to acknowledge her for that! She is never afraid to do the hard things and have the difficult conversations, and I fully support the work that she does. That’s why I’m offering two scholarships for two women of color to participate in her Nirvana Momma program! Stay tuned to the end of the podcast to find out how to win!
Connecting to Your Divine Calling
So before we completely dove into womb healing, I was really excited to talk to Jasmin about her new business. How does a registered nurse making a six-figure salary walk away from her job to open a brick-and-mortar business during a pandemic?
“Honestly, God told me. God led me here. … So much led me to this space. … It wasn’t how I wanted it at first or what it looked like in my head. … I just had to put my faith in something, and that’s why we’re here.”Jasmin Acevedo
I genuinely admire Jasmin for how in-tune she is with the divine. She is tapped into the frequency of that divine energy, and she can receive messages from God and then act on them with confidence.
That’s a powerful skill, but it can be difficult to develop. How can we all get better connected to God, the universe, or whatever you believe to receive these divine messages in our lives?
“In our last meeting, you said, ‘What does a woman that you want to look like look like? How do you show up as her? What systems do you have in place to get this woman to come to life?’ And so I envisioned that. … And then another one is going back to doing a lot of shadow work and looking at what my inner child needs.”Jasmin Acevedo
So much of that divine connection comes down to how healed we are within ourselves. When we’re in tune with the ideal versions of ourselves — the future selves we will become — we begin to manifest the lives we desire. And when we do the hard work of confronting our past traumas and nurturing our inner children, we heal from our pasts and enable those divine connections we need to move into the future. We tap into the energy fields of peace and love.
“I understood that some higher energy fields are like love, which is unconditional, peace, joy, [and] all those things — You’re not always in that energy, but the more you experience those things, the more you’re able to elevate in your life.” – Jasmin Acevedo
What past trauma is holding you back from stepping boldly into your future? What divine messages are you missing because of your limiting beliefs? Babe, I want to encourage you to do that challenging shadow work and get in touch with the future version of yourself! When you do that, you truly tap into a frequency of receiving, and you’re able to hear those divine messages loud and clear, just like Jasmin does!
Womb Healing: What Is It, And How Do We Do It?
Okay, now for the topic we all came for! Jasmin is an expert on womb health, and her coaching on the subject is second-to-none. But how does she define womb health?
“I think womb wellness goes back to that mind-body-spirit healing. And when I became a mother, I recognized the power of my womb and how important it is to be in-tune with yourself. … It is the sixth vital sign. So when women are out of alignment … the way that your body tells you is through hormones.”Jasmin Acevedo
Your womb truly is your sixth vital sign. If there is a problem with the overall health and healing, it will show up in your hormones and in your level of womb wellness. Jasmin gave this example: Sometimes, women will notice irregularities within their cycles, they’ll go to the doctor, the doctor will prescribe birth control, and that will be it. But according to Jasmin, that doesn’t address the root issue of the problem, which might be emotional or spiritual instead of physical.
So what can we do to deepen our connections to our womb spaces and develop greater womb wellness?
“You don’t need birth control. Don’t use it if you’re having issues with your period — maybe try alternative methods first. … I know a lot of women, especially women of color, have fibroids, and they have been cured or treated by steaming and by paying attention to what they’re eating and putting into their body.”Jasmin Acevedo
It sounds almost too simple to be true, but one of the best things we can do for our wombs is just pay attention to our overall health and wellness — and that means paying attention to what we’re eating. Womb wellness is part of your overall wellness, and it’s incredible how many of our hormonal problems can be solved with healthy eating and exercise!
So it’s important to pay attention to what we’re putting into our bodies, but it’s also important that we’re teaching our daughters how to take care of theirs. The end product of womb wellness is new birth, after all! And we want to make sure the next generation is healed and healthy. So all you mamas out there — talk to your daughters! Support them, love them, and teach them how to care for their wombs. This cycle of healing and new birth only repeats if we keep it moving.
Being a Woman of Color in the Wellness Space
As a woman of color, breaking into the wellness space has been an uphill battle for Jasmin. I admire her courage and tenacity, but I know it has not been easy for her to break through the limiting beliefs surrounding the perception of her skin color in this space due to racism.
“You gave me permission to get into that space and invest in myself. And I think if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t be where I am because a lot of people that are around me that have the same culture as me have the same mindset as me. … We’ve always been like this, and we’ve always had a poverty mindset. … So it’s very important to have people that are allies that can show us. And then when you make it out of that poverty, I think you have a responsibility to go back and feed everybody else around you that you care about and really enlighten them.”Jasmin Acevedo
As a coach, I know my perspective is limited. I don’t know what it’s like to be a woman of color, and that’s why it’s essential that I’m an ally for the women of color around me. When we commit to lifting each other up and empowering our sisters of color to overcome that poverty mindset, everybody benefits.
I’m grateful that I had the opportunity to work with Jasmin and empower her on her journey as an entrepreneur. But I know that I have my own traumas— we all do — and we have to work together to overcome them.
“It helps [to] level the playing field and really connect with everyone else and see [that] most of us came from trauma. … So just having compassion and understanding that everyone comes from different backgrounds but we’re all connected.”Jasmin Acevedo
To all the women of color reading this: I’m glad you’re here. Thank you for joining me on this journey. I want to empower you to remain in this space and continue making strides in your businesses. And to help level the playing field, I want to offer a scholarship. I am going to pay for two women of color to be part of Jasmin’s Nirvana Momma program.
